In an effort to continuously expand the list of offerings and values made available to members, the E2MA has established an online panel of industry experts to develop content, insights and answers to the needs and questions of all E2MA members – both the exhibit marketers and the EACs and industry suppliers.     

E2MA’s Experts will provide regular tips, topics of discussion, will moderate online discussions and post regular blogs on their subject matter area for the benefit of E2MA members.

Our current lineup of Experts (in alphabetical order) includes:











Rich Gilligan, fmp

Topic:  RFPs

Rich has over 25 years of industry experience in the marketing and event management fields. His broad-based experience includes senior executive roles in the telecommunications and pharmaceutical industries.

His most recent position was VP Marketing, TELUS International, a position he begun in February 2013. Previously, Rich was Global Commodity Expert, Events and Sponsorships for SAP where he was responsible for the management of the global supplier base and the execution of contracts on several multi-million dollar event programs, including the largest event for SAP, SapphireNow.   Prior to joining SAP, Rich held senior marketing management positions with JP Morgan Chase,  EMEA (where he launched the Celebrex brand),  Telecordia, and AT&T. Rich is also a proven entrepreneur, as he launched and managed his own marketing events firm, IDEA.




         

Bob Hughes, The Hughes Group

Bob Hughes started in the tradeshow industry in 1981. He established The Hughes Group in 1987, and has since grown the company to serve private sector, non-profit and government clients located throughout the US.

 

In 2000, the Eventege/Xpressions line was developed and patented. This revolutionary frame design is lightweight, easy to setup and flexible enough to allow for countless different graphic and display uses.

 

In 2006, The Hughes Group (THG) pioneered hosted buyer décor with the Future show concept. Since that time, THG has served as the general contractor for non-traditional tradeshows and events for many satisfied clients.

 

The latest innovation is Smarter Exhibiting. THG starts with the premise that exhibitors must realize a return on their investment- attendees must have a full, rich experience and organizers must increase their net profit - The Hughes Group has spent the last few years, designing, testing and identifying viable solutions to meet those objectives. We call our suite of solutions Smarter Exhibiting.

 

Today, The Hughes Group continues to serve a wide range of clients, and is known for providing excellent customer service and tailored event solutions.  To that end, Bob Hughes is widely recognized as a leader in the tradeshow and exhibit industry. Since opening its doors, THG has evolved from being a distributor, to a manufacturer, adding a focus on research to culminate in an entire suite of products that guarantee results and success for clients.








               



Matthew Little, Nuvista

Matthew Little is the General Manager of Nuvista Event Services and has been with the company for 14 years. With over 20 years of event and exhibit experience, Matthew has worked on both the client side of the industry as well as the services side. With a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Communication as well as years of on-the-job experience, Matthew has extensive knowledge of the show floor and its workings.







                   



Doug Oldfield, Epsilon

Topic:   Data Enrichment

A seasoned data marketing veteran, Doug brings over 20 years of experience to Epsilon where he is responsible for the development of new business. He also works to create new agency partnerships and new vertical business units to help brands better leverage data to reach their marketing and business objectives. Additionally, Doug serves as a consultant for legal and data compliance matters. When not helping global brands improve their data-driven marketing, Doug is a marathon runner. He has ran 14 marathons in total, including the New York City Marathon three times.  He has also won the Abacus Hall of Heroes Award three times, in 2003, 2006 and 2012. Doug holds a MA in Integrated Marketing and a BA in Journalism from the University of Nebraska.

 

 

 

 

                

Michael Younder, Panvista

For more than 20 years, Michael has worked extensively for top tier companies in the financial and technology sectors to help them achieve aggressive growth goals. Michael held senior roles at BlackBerry where he grew consumer business nationally and internationally. As VP of Growth, Michael ensures that all clients are effectively served by Panvista’s suite of analytics solutions for events and conferences.

 





          
               


Karl Pfalzgraf, iCompli divison of BPA Worldwide

Topic:  Sustainability

Karl Pfalzgraf is Vice President of Sustainability Assurance at iCompli, a division of BPA Worldwide, the largest media auditing organization in the world. ICompli provides independent third party assurance on government mandates, voluntary industry standards and organizational performance claims. Most recently, he served as Director, Business Development, with AccountAbility, a leading international corporate responsibility think tank and consultancy. Previously he was Director, Global Brand and Communications at PwC, where he was responsible for global sustainability communications. Earlier in his career, he was Vice President, Corporate Communications at J.P.Morgan.












Marc Wayshak

Marc Wayshak is the author of two books on sales and leadership, Game Plan Selling and Breaking All Barriers, as well as a regular contributor for Entrepreneur Magazine and the Huffington Post Business section. As a sales strategist, Marc created the Game Plan Selling System to revolutionize the way salespeople, entrepreneurs and companies approach selling




             

             

Mel White, Classic Exhibits

Topic:  Exhibit Systems / Web Marketing / Blogging

Mel White is the VP of Marketing and Business Development at Classic Exhibits Inc., a designer and builder of exhibits, supplier of engineered aluminum extrusions, and provider of custom hybrid rental solutions. For over twenty years, Mel has worked with exhibit manufacturers, distributors, and end-users to develop new products, refine their branding, and sharpen their trade show marketing programs. He is currently a board member of Exhibit and Event Marketers Association.
