RDC 2013 will attract more than 200 of the top corporate exhibitors and event managers with six and seven-figure annual budgets from throughout the U.S.   The draw for these buyers will be more than 45 seminars and general sessions devoted to the urgent issues that drive exhibit marketing today.   RDC 2013 will also offer strategic level insights into what senior level event managers should do to optimize their event production for maximum business value.

The faculty at the RDC 2013 will include many of the nation’s leading exhibit marketing experts and practitioners, as well as university professors from several prominent business schools.


The foundation of this must attend event has been formed through building learning communities around specific issues that challenge the day to day execution of event managers.   Educators, end-users and industry suppliers will collaborate to move the industry forward and develop policies and business plans to guide our industry into the next generation of event production.   Our newly minted industry association looks forward to providing continuing advocacy through the industry collaboration that will occur at the Red Diamond Congress.

Dinner with Strangers

A brand new feature for this year's RDC you'll have an opportunity on Tuesday night to go to dinner with 6 to 8 of your peers and a lead facilitator who will engage all in a compelling conversation about issues and challenges of exhibit and event marketing.     It's a great way to meet colleagues, make friends, and find solutions to your most vexing problems.

Another new feature of this year's program is a special session which enables all our exhibit and event marketer members to find solutions to their toughest exhibit program challenges at this year's RDC.    We have assembled a panel of experts who will provide ideas, suggestions and solutions that will directly impact your exhibit program and make you a hero within your organization.

EXPLORE!  Optimizing Customer Attainment from Event Engagement

The E2MA partnered with the CMO Council, a global organization of 6,000 senior level marketers, to conduct a Global Event Market Study.   EXPLORE!, which takes place on Monday, July 29,  will dig deep into the findings of the study and create an opportunity for all in attendance to not only discuss what the study revealed but also to experience demonstrations of tools, technologies and techniques that marketers can use to better plan, assess and measure their event marketing outcomes.    Attendance to this event is by invitation only and requires a separate registration.   Schedule-at-a-glance.

Appreciative Inquiry Sessions

As we did at the 2012 Red Diamond Congress, there will be three (3) general sessions of Appreciative Inquiry where we will call upon the combined experience and expertise of our members to identify our association's "centers of infinite strengths."

We also call this "Conference 3.0."     Conference 3.0 leaps beyond the kind of dialogue found in sessions and workshops, or even networking sessions, to a joint design of future strategy that will point the way for our new association.

The Day One session will be a status review of last year's initiatives and a discovery phase, or assessment of strengths and opportunities.  Day Two will delve into our planning and vision for the future.   And, Day Three, produces the innovations and initiatives for the coming year.



Awards Gala - featuring The Expo Group Exhibit Manager of the Year Award

The climax of our second day features an Awards Gala program including the second annual Exhibit Manager of the Year Award - sponsored by The Expo Group.      The Exhibit Manager of the Year Awards honor exhibit managers who exhibit characteristics that create value in corporate event programs like attention to detail, creativity and innovation.

We will also recognize our Member of the Year, our Intrepid Award winner and recognize our newest inductees into the E2MA Hall of Fame - in both exhibitor and EAC categories.

E2MA Board Meeting

Members are welcome to attend the last half hour of this meeting.  Come and visit with your Board and find out what new developments are in the works for our association.  Or, simply let them know what they can be doing to create even more progress for EACs and our industry.


EDPA Board Meeting

We will be welcoming our industry colleagues from the Exhibit Designers & Producers Association who will also be conducting their Board meeting during the Red Diamond Congress.
